That said, I'm still not confident I could diagnose a lot of problems myself—this is more of a 'understand what your mechanic is doing' book than a 'fix it yourself' book, and the back cover could have been clearer about that. Also a few sections on the business side felt out of place for someone who just owns a boat. But overall solid reference material.
