The engineering explanations in Chapter 1 were thorough, but as someone just looking for which trampoline to buy for my backyard, I felt like I was reading a physics textbook. That said, it's clearly well-researched and useful for someone running a facility or seriously evaluating brands. Just not what I was looking for.

Really glad this exists because manufacturer websites are useless. The chapter on specifications actually explains what spring gauge and mat thickness mean for real durability—I finally understand why two trampolines with similar prices perform so differently. My one complaint is the business chapter feels less urgent than the technical stuff, but for anyone buying commercial equipment, this is the handbook to own.
