My main complaint is that the regulatory section feels general—permitting and environmental rules vary so much by region that I still had to dig into state-specific requirements. The book should have been clearer that this is a baseline reference, not a substitute for local legal review. Still useful, but not a complete answer for site planning.

Good reference material overall, though I found the Chapter 1 overview a bit heavy on geology and history when what I really needed was equipment selection and cost comparison. The later chapters on choosing equipment and maintenance are practical and concrete. The business opportunities section was interesting but felt like it could have gone deeper into actual margins and ROI models.
