I found the first chapter very useful—it finally explains what actually goes into a cheerleading uniform from a structural standpoint rather than just describing what they look like. My only complaint is that some of the chapters felt a bit technical for a coach like me. Still, this book has information I haven't found anywhere else, so it's worth the read even if you skip some sections.

As a new athletic director overseeing three cheer squads, I was drowning in vendor quotes and didn't know what I was actually comparing.
