But if you are a regular homeowner not a business, you can skip the business chapters and the procurement frameworks. Good for the target audience, just not for me.

The comparison of PVC versus TPE backing at various water temperatures was an eye-opener. I resell bathroom supplies, and the chapter on manufacturer positioning gave me enough confidence to approach a supplier about a private label. This is the kind of book I will keep on my office shelf and actually reference.

I will start by saying the content is accurate and I appreciated the neutral tone - no fluff at all. The installation section is top quality, and I did pick up some useful troubleshooting tips for a rental property I manage. But the title says "Complete Handbook" and I found some gaps. There is no real coverage of eco-friendly or plastic-free alternatives beyond a short mention, and the future trends chapter is lighter than I expected. Also, the book takes itself a bit too seriously for the subject at times. Useful, but not as complete as claimed.
