The Complete Handbook of Airpots
A practical reference for buyers, operators, and service professionals

non-fiction
The complete, practical guide to choosing, using, maintaining, and profiting from airpots.
About this book
Airpots are ubiquitous in cafes, offices, hotels, and catering operations, yet most buyers and operators know little about how they work or what separates a good one from a bad one. Manufacturer brochures list capacities and colors, but they rarely explain why one airpot holds heat for an hour while another holds it for eight hours, or why a pump fails after three months. This handbook fills that gap with direct, practical knowledge for anyone who depends on these devices.
Organized for real-world use, the book walks you through the technology, the types and specs that genuinely matter, and how to match a machine to a specific setting, whether that is a high-volume self-serve breakfast bar, an office pantry, or a catering van. It covers day-to-day operation, routine maintenance, and step-by-step troubleshooting for common failures. A dedicated chapter explores the business side: how brands are positioned, how to evaluate suppliers, and realistic opportunities in reselling, servicing, private labeling, and rental.
Written in a neutral, instructional tone, this is a reference you will keep next to your equipment, not a magazine that gets read once and recycled. It aims to make you a more informed buyer and a more capable operator, no matter which brand or model you choose.

★★★★★It's a solid reference, and I learned a few things I didn't know, especially about why pumps fail. The chapter on brands and business opportunities felt a bit thin though, like it was written by someone who knows the equipment but not the market's underside. Also, the wording gets repetitive in the middle chapters. Still, for the price, it's more useful than the manufacturer PDFs I had bookmarked. I'll keep it in the back office, but I wouldn't call it essential reading for someone who already owns a few airpots and just wants one for the house.
