I got a lot out of this, but I have one main issue: it is clearly written by someone who knows what they are talking about, and sometimes that goes into detail that is more than I need. I run a small HVAC company, and I thought the chapter on placement was excellent — I have been putting meters too close to air vents for years, and now I know why my readings were all over the place. The business chapter was also useful for thinking about offering air quality testing as an add-on service to my clients. My gripe is that the troubleshooting section reads a bit like a lab manual and could be daunting for a contractor who just wants a quick fix. The appendix on sensor types was very helpful though. Glad I bought it, but I will probably lend it to my junior tech rather than read it cover to cover again.
