A robotics engineer is the person who designs, builds, tests, and maintains machines that can sense, think, and act in the physical world. That sounds grand. In practice, it means you are the person who spends three hours trying to figure out why the autonomous forklift veered 5 degrees to the left every time it passed the loading bay door. It means reading tool logs, adjusting sensor offsets, and re-running the same simulation until you've seen the failure so many times you can predict it in your sleep. Then, after you've fixed it, you'll catch another subtle bug, and the cycle starts again.
