It's a solid starting point. Chapter 1 finally explained what quants actually do all day - I had no idea about the model validation grind. The salary table in chapter 4 was helpful too. That said, it sometimes felt a bit generic in the early chapters, and I wish it had more specific advice on which master's programs are actually worth the money. Useful, but I wouldn't call it comprehensive.
