And your brain has just done the thing where it stops working, and all you can hear is the word "syndrome" or "myelodysplastic," which sounds like something from a sci-fi movie, and all you really want is for someone to explain what the hell is going on without using any more words that sound like they belong in a biology textbook from 1985.
