"3MC syndrome" is a mouthful, and let's be honest, it sounds like a secret government experiment. It isn't. It's simply an acronym. The "3" stands for the three researchers who first pieced together the features of this condition back in the late 1990s: they are Malpuech, Michels, and Carnevale.
