This guide is a third path. For the next ten days, you'll do one small, specific task per day. Let's talk about day one. I want to set an expectation that might feel uncomfortable at first: today will not be dramatic. There's no phase where the cards suddenly "speak" to you, and you won't feel a mystical surge of energy. That's not because the cards are fake or you're doing something wrong. It's because tarot is a practical skill, like cooking an omelet or learning to change a tire. The first time, you follow instructions and feel clumsy. The tenth time, you add your own touches. Today, you're just getting the ingredients out of the fridge.
First, you need a deck. I know you might not have one sitting in a drawer. That's fine. Here's what you'll do today: if you have a local bookstore, a head shop, a comic store, or a gift shop that carries occult items, go buy a standard Rider-Waite-Smith deck. This is the classic deck with the colorful
