Work lights are not a single product but a category of portable and fixed illumination devices whose sole purpose is to make a specific task visible. They are the difference between a mechanic guessing at a torque spec in the dark and seeing the fastener directly. A work light is not a flashlight you wave around; it is a tool you set up to create a defined field of light on a specific working area.
