A water polo goal consists of five main components: a frame, typically made of corrosion-resistant metal alloy; a net constructed from high-strength synthetic material; flotation devices that keep the goal at the correct water level; anchoring or bracing systems that hold the goal in position against player contact and water movement; and, for some installations, supporting infrastructure like bulkheads or permanent deck fittings.
