All three contain cement as a binder, but the proportions of cement, aggregate, water, and additives differ significantly, and their intended uses—and performance characteristics—are completely different. When concrete poured in northern Canada deteriorates in five years while identical concrete in Arizona lasts fifty, the difference is usually not random—it's a direct result of the wrong mix having been chosen for the climate.
