1. What Beer Glasses actually is, how it works, and why it matters

When a beer is poured into a glass, the drinking experience changes. That is not marketing; it is physics and chemistry interacting with sensory physiology. The same beer poured into a thick, straight-sided pint versus a thin, stemmed tulip will differ in perceived temperature, in the rate of carbon dioxide release, in the amount and texture of foam, and in the way volatile aroma compounds are concentrated near your nose. The glass is an instrument—sometimes a good one, sometimes a bad one—for delivering the beer from the tap or bottle to your mouth without losing what the brewer intended.

Beer glasses are not a single product.
