Chapter 1: What Is Foosball and Why People Love It
Picture a table about the size of a large coffee table, but on legs. Four feet long, two feet wide, with a green playing surface inside and eight rods running across it lengthwise. On those rods are miniature players — little plastic figures, painted like soccer players but fixed to the rods. You grip a metal handle on your side, and when you push or pull it, the entire row of players on that rod moves left or right. When you twist your wrist, the players spin in a full circle. That's it.
